Recitals

  • There are two recitals per year, one in the Fall and one in the Spring, that are free of charge for all performers and audience members.
  • Dates for these are to be determined and will be communicated with students and parents as soon as possible.
  • Performing in these recitals is not a requirement at Roger's Music Academy. We understand that this is a challenge for some folks and would hate for that to hinder their learning experience. However, this is a fun and free event and we'd love to encourage all to give it a try!

Policies

  • Cancellation Policy: We strive to provide the highest quality music education and value your commitment to our lessons. To ensure that our schedule remains organized and that all students receive the attention they deserve, all cancelations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled lesson via phone or email. This is to ensure the rescheduling of the lesson at a later date. In the event that this does not happen, the lesson will not be rescheduled. Additionally, we understand that things happen. If extenuating circumstances occur such as a medical emergency or death in the family that causes you to cancel a lesson and documentation is provided, there will be no penalty for that cancelation and the Roger’s Music Academy staff will work with you to reschedule the lesson at the earliest convenience. Again, this is to ensure all students a chance at quality education and all instructors some schedule organization. Thank you for your understanding!
  • Instrument Commitment Policy: We fully encourage our students to learn to play as many instruments as they desire! However, doing so all at once can often cause students to feel overwhelmed or confused. To avoid this, we have a two month instrument commitment policy. This means that after a student dedicates two months to learning their first instrument, they are able to learn another at no additional cost. This policy encourages students to develop a solid foundation on one instrument before expanding their skills to others, fostering well-rounded musicianship without financial barriers.

  • Dress Code/Code of Conduct: Roger's Music Academy is a Christian establishment that prides itself on being family-friendly. To maintain this respectful environment, we ask that there be no vulgarity, smoking, drinking, and/or drug use anywhere on our premises. This extends to clothing as well, as we aim to provide a positive and professional atmosphere at Roger’s Music Academy and hope that our students, parents, and visitors aspire to do the same. We appreciate your cooperation in upholding these standards and helping us create a welcoming and respectful environment for everyone here at Roger’s Music Academy! Failure to adhere to these rules may constitute grounds for dismissal.
