Frequently Asked Questions

When are payments due? Payments are due on the 15th of every month. Inability to make this payment on time will result in a $25 late payment fee.

Is there a contractual obligation? No! You can quit anytime you wish.

Will there be any recitals or performances? Absolutely! Roger's Music Academy presents two recitals per year, one occurring in the fall and one in the spring. Students and parents will be notified of specific dates as soon as possible. Additionally, these recitals are completely free for performers and audience members! Our goal with these performances are simply to showcase our students' progress and share a night of good music with good people. However, students are NOT required to participate should they feel uncomfortable. We completely understand that stage fright is a real thing and would hate for that to interfere with someone's learning.

Do you have to own an instrument in order to take lessons? Absolutely not! We provide instruments for every student during their lessons.

What is your cancellation policy? We strive to provide the highest quality music education and value your commitment to our lessons. To ensure that our schedule remains organized and that all students receive the attention they deserve, all cancelations must be made at least 24 hours in advance of a scheduled lesson via phone or email. This is to ensure the rescheduling of the lesson at a later date. In the event that this does not happen, the lesson will not be rescheduled. Additionally, we understand that things happen. If extenuating circumstances occur such as a medical emergency or death in the family that causes you to cancel a lesson and documentation is provided, there will be no penalty for that cancellation and the Roger’s Music Academy staff will work with you to reschedule the lesson at the earliest convenience. Again, this is to ensure all students a chance at quality education and all instructors some schedule organization. Thank you for your understanding!
